Alvin ISD Hosts College Fair

Posted on Tuesday, 06 November 2012

Manvel High School will host the Alvin ISD College Fair on Tuesday, November 27th from 6 to 8 pm. Over 60 representatives from colleges, universities, trade schools, military and service academies will be in attendance at this annual event.

The event is the perfect opportunity for local students and parents to get a glimpse of the many options available for students after high school. This year, many of the visiting institutions will be using a time saving scanning device. When a student registers, they will be able to print a registration page that has a bar code unique to the student. Tables with scanners will capture the student’s information and eliminate the need for students to fill out multiple registration forms. Organizers recommend taking pre-printed labels with the student’s name, grade, address and phone number for use at tables without scanners.

Register at www.gotocollegefairs.com and check the TACO event.
